Jubilee School (Academie la Saline)
Academie la Saline was founded in 2009 with the mission to nourish the bodies, minds and souls of the children of Jubilee Blanc. It strives to give its students those things which cannot be taken from them: knowledge to empower them with problem-solving skills and life options, and a Christian education to provide a solid spiritual foundation and teach them the love of Jesus.
The Academie now has over 130 students in PK-3 though 6th grade, and sponsors its 6th grade graduates to attend Haitian secondary school, in addition to the Jubilee School of Discipleship.
K-3 through elementary students are taught a Christ-centered curriculum which includes:
- Art and Music
At-risk children from the community (who are unable to attend the Academie) are provided with nutrition and basic educational skills in the After-School Program.
The Nutrition Program (formerly the Jubilee Feeding Program) provides high-quality, nutritious meals for the Academie la Saline students, as well as high-risk and malnourished children from the community of Jubilee. The Nutrition Program is also supported by Kids Against Hunger/Manzanitas Outreach who provides rice and beans, as well as a a protein and nutrient enriched supplement which is added to the rice and beans.
The Nutrition Program is dedicated to purchasing and providing fruits and vegetables, which supports the local economy.
Children who are eligible for the Nutrition Program include…

- After-school program students
- Children who have graduated from the Medika Mamba program or who have a medical referral from Klinik Jubilee
